Hicks chosen as Industry Judge for 2010 Commercial Insurance Agency of the Year Award

Earlier this year, Demmie Hicks was chosen as an industry judge in the 2010 Commercial Agency Awards for Excellence given by National Underwriter and American Agent & Broker. She and other industry judges, along with AA&B and NU editors, evaluated select nominated agencies for multiple awards including overall 2010 Commercial Insurance Agency of the year and other awards in recognition of those doing an exceptional job in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Technology & Operations, and Recruitment & Training.

The winning agencies will be profiled in the November issue of AA&B and in the October 4 cover story of NU. AA&B also announced that the principals from the winning agencies will be invited to participate in a roundtable discussion on "The Future of the Independent Agent". Edited highlights will appear in the December issue of AA&B and the Nov. 2 issue of NU.
